Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver waved goodbye to Broncos Country after defeating Denver 22-16 in overtime.
Week 11 of the NFL season featured a battle between two of the most disappointing teams in the AFC West. The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos were expected to contend for a playoff spot, but instead find themselves well outside of the picture.
Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said that someone has to win this game, which had many chuckling at the thought of the game heading to a tie. Well, that almost became a reality, until Davante Adams had something to say about it.
With the game tied 16-16, Adams broke well away from Denver’s defensive backs and caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Derek Carr to win the game 22-16.
Davante Adams. OT game winner. Enough said‼️

NFL Twitter roasts Broncos after loss to Davante Adams, Raiders
Whenever the Broncos lose, Twitter users crack their knuckles and begin uploading their favorite memes at the expense of the team, Hackett, and quarterback Russell Wilson. They didn’t disappoint.
Hey, the Broncos said "We cannot let Keelan Cole beat us here" and he didn't. So let's give credit where it's due. https://t.co/DlkbYIAHht

Adams had a huge day in Denver, as he caught seven passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets.
As for the Broncos offense, they struggled once again, putting up 17 points or less for the seventh time in nine games played. They were 3-for-12 on third down, and averaged just 3.4 rushing yards per carry.
Russell Wilson completed 24-of-31 pass attempts for 247 yards and zero touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Raiders were penalized nine times resulting in a loss of 98 yards. Yet, they were still in the game due to Denver’s inefficiency on offense.
The Raiders are now 3-7 on the year and look to build a winning streak next week when they take on the Seattle Seahawks. As for the Broncos, they take on the Carolina Panthers. Surely that is a feasible win for Denver, right? Right?
