3 Carlos Rodón destinations that would break Giants fans hearts

Carlos Rodon to the New York Mets would sting for Giants fans

The New York Mets are seeking to bolster their starting rotation after several arms appear to be leaving due to free agency. Many top free-agent pitchers are on the Mets’ radar, including Rodón.

Mets free-agent pitchers Jacob deGrom and Chris Bassitt could head elsewhere. If signed by the Mets, Rodon would join a staff that includes Max Scherzer, Carlos Carrasco, and David Peterson at the very least.

As mentioned, Rodón is represented by the Boras Corporation and is likely due for a considerable pay increase. Mets owner Steve Cohen is most likely to be able to give Rodon that huge payday and still be able to fill other needs.

This would likely create another roadblock for the Giants’ quest to return to the World Series.
