3 Dallas Cowboys who could be cut after the NFL Draft
No. 3 Potential Cut Candidate: TE Sean McKeon
It’s likely Dalton Schultz will be brought back, and the Cowboys will look for a more suitable backup in the draft to complement Schultz. As such, the door for McKeon appears to be closing, and he could soon find his way out of Big D. McKeon’s career stats in Dallas amount to six catches for 38 yards and a touchdown in two seasons.
That’s not necessarily good, and given the current state of affairs at the tight-end position, it is possible that Dallas looks for a new face in that position. That would be tough for McKeon, considering he hasn’t had many chances to show what he can do, but the NFL is a rough business, and hopefully, McKeon can find his way to another team that gives him a chance to show what he can do.
