Best available NBA free agent power forwards: 4. Rui Hachmiura

Rui Hachimura has earned himself a lot of money since he was traded to the Lakers. He has really played up to his offensive potential in recent weeks, being extremely hot from 3. When Washington traded him to the Lakers, he was probably looking at a deal around $10 million per year. With his improved play, he could be looking at a deal in the range of $15 or 20 million per year.

He’s a restricted free agent and the Lakers can match any deal but things could get pricey in L.A.

With their recent play, the Lakers may find themselves priced out of keeping their own free agents — also D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves. Still, the Lakers will take this success. Even though they are trying to maximize their remaining LeBron James time, they still might be weary of paying deep in the luxury tax. In the past, they have done that but they’ll have a lot to consider this summer.
