It is no secret that superstar recording artist Beyonce will be performing the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII, but any guests joining the singer on stage have yet to be revealed. There is a prop bet for the Super Bowl regarding whether or not Beyonce will bring her husband Jay-Z on stage during her performance, but there was also another rumor surfacing that has already been shot down.

Reports were swirling that Beyonce could reunite with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams during the halftime show for a reunion of their girl group “Destiny’s Child.”

While fans of the group are hoping to see them perform on stage again, Williams shot down the rumors during an interview with WRUG radio.

But fans should still be skeptical despite Williams’ effort to deny the rumors.

Destiny’s Child is releasing a new album on Tuesday and the trio has already released a new song. It would make perfect sense for them to come together on the nation’s biggest stage and perform their new song to promote the brand new album. Super Bowl artists generally perform some sort of new music and Beyonce has none of her own.

There is also a rumored track list for the Super Bowl halftime show that includes Destiny’s Child hits “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Survivor” and their new track “Nuclear.”

If the group was planning a comeback, there is no better way to kick it off than by coming together for a major performance on Super Bowl Sunday.
