Michigan point guard Trey Burke beautifully timed a jump and blocked a driving Peyton Siva in the final minutes of the 2013 NCAA Tournament final, but the referees decided to make an absolutely atrocious call and blew the whistle signaling a foul on Burke.

To anyone with a set of eyes, it was a clear block and Burke got nothing but all ball.

Here is the so-called foul from the refs:

We can all see that was clearly all ball, right? It doesn’t get more obvious than that and the referees blew it.

Apparently the refs were the only one that didn’t catch that in real time and he was the closest to the action. It was an unfortunate blown call, but one call doesn’t make all of the difference in a game.

With just over a minute left in the game, we are in for a nail-biter.

Hopefully there won’t be any more blatantly missed calls like this one on Burke.
