Jordan Crawford Tells Carmelo Anthony That Kevin Garnett Slept With His Wife
By Josh Sanchez
The New York Knicks were talking a lot of trash heading in to their match up against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night — mainly thanks to J.R. Smith — but it was the Celtics who got the last laugh by earning the win. Then it was Jordan Crawford, who did not play in the game, who talked some trash after the game when he was passing by Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.
Crawford’s comments were derogatory and certainly referring to an incident earlier in the year when Anthony and Celtics forward Kevin Garnett went at it after Garnett told Anthony that his wife tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.
Here is a look at the incident where it appears Crawford is saying, “That motherf—- f—- your wife” to Anthony:
After the game, Carmelo was asked about the exchange, but he didn’t want to acknowledge anything that was said and blew it off as a minor incident.
“I’m not thinking about no Jordan Crawford,” he told reporters. “Not at this point in time. I’ll tell you that. I don’t even think he deserves for you to be typing right now.”
Luckily for us, we get to see at least one more game between the two teams and it will be fun to see how Crawford and Anthony go at each other on the court, if Crawford can actually find any playing time in game six. Anthony took the high road after the game, but he could just be waiting for his play to do the talking.
