The Chicago Bulls were hoping that Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich would be available to play in tonight’s Game 3 against the Miami Heat, even if for only a few minutes.

Unfortunately for Bulls fans, that wont be happening.

Both Deng and Hinrich are out for tonight’s tilt, along with Derrick Rose who was ruled out earlier this morning.

Even if Deng was to have suited up tonight, given his illness, it was unlikely he’d have seen the floor for more than a handful of minutes. His status for Game 4 is still up in the air, though, it’s expected that if he does attempt to play, his minutes will be heavily reduced.

For guard Kirk Hinrich, the former Jayhawk remains sidelined with a calf injury after two MRI results proved to be inconclusive. Like Deng, he also remains questionable for Game 4 as he’s struggling to walk, let alone actually take the floor at the current moment.

Nate Robinson will continue to take the minutes left behind by Hinrich (and to a lesser extent, Deng) while Marco Belinelli will do the same for Deng’s absence.

The Bulls and Heat will tip off their Game 3 matchup tonight in the Windy City at 8:00 PM Eastern. The series is currently tied at one game a piece.
