Entering the series against the Los Angeles Kings, many thought the Chicago Blackhawks would struggle mightily against the best netminder in the NHL. But Jonathan Quick struggled for two of his first three periods against the Hawks in Game 1 and Chicago was able to escape with a 2-1 victory.

But while the Blackhawks looked good for the final two periods against the Kings, Jonathan Quick doesn’t need much to beat you. He didn’t get the offensive support he thought he’d get against the Blackhawks, but that should only determine him even more. Quick is the type of netminder that can work with a small lead and he’ll be able to adjust to the type of defense he’s being supported with and the type of offensive output Los Angeles is giving him.

Still, the Blackhawks looked like the team they were earlier in the regular season, and that’s not the team we saw get taken to the brink against the Detroit Red Wings. If Chicago can play like they did in Game 1, this might be a series that swings their way quicker than we think.

We’re still in for a really good series between the Kings and Blackhawks and entering Game 2 it’s impossible to tell who really has the upper hand — and that’s the way it should be.

So what time do the Blackhawks and Red Wings drop the puck? We’ve got all of the information you will need to know to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
