It hasn’t been a good day for former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

After being arrested in connection to the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, Hernandez was released from the Patriots. No one begins the day hoping to be arrested and lose their job.

While it isn’t an ideal scenario for Hernandez, it is only going to get worse.

According to reports, Hernandez will immediately be jailed after his arraignment and there will be no option for bond.

From Doug Kyed of NESN.com:

This obviously would play right in to the report that we should “assume the worst” when it comes to the charges that Hernandez will face.

Hernandez is in for a long legal battle and his NFL career could very well be over if the charges are as serious as they appear they will be, but let’s remember that he is still innocent until proven guilty. As hard as that may be to do.
