If you watched last night’s MLB All-Star Home Run Derby, you were treated to a hell of a show. You also probably noticed the amount of morons clamming it up for camera time when ESPN went to a live shot of the announcing crew, who as always was positioned on the field.

Drunk (and non-drunk) fans in the stands rushed to get some air time anytime the camera panned to the crew, especially when they were interviewing a guest like Adam Jones or Mike Piazza.

Unfortunately for one group though, they’re probably going to wish they weren’t caught on camera – especially if somebody decides to press charges.

During Michael Cuddyer’s second-round, ESPN was interviewing former New York Mets (and Los Angeles Dodgers) great Mike Piazza. The camera was in a wide-shot mode which showed the spectators behind the set, which just so happened to be filled with two guys trying to beat the snot out of each other (actually, it looked more like one guy trying to push a wheelbarrow).

ESPN quickly saw what was going down and zoomed in for a close shot so we’re not sure who took the crown. Though, judging by the size of the one guy’s cut man – I’m guessing the guy in the white shirt probably didn’t come out victorious – assuming he wasn’t eaten.
