So it looks like football players racing animals is a thing, huh?

While Chris Johnson and Devin Hester raced a cheetah for a cable TV stunt, Dallas Cowboys receiver Dwayne Harris actually chased animals as a weight-loss method. Seriously, who needs a gym when you have rabbits?

Here’s Harris explaining his workout (via ESPN Dallas): “I’d just go out, man, and look for stuff to run after. All kinds of stuff. Rabbits. Cats. Everything. Especially when I was back at home with my mom (in Stone Mountain, Ga.). We live in the woods, so there was a lot of stuff running out there.”

I wonder what Skip Bayless has to say about this?

Harri’s pit bull named Polo was the preferred competition. Harris said the 6-year-old dog isn’t very agile or quick, but is surprisingly fast and “can run straight ahead.”

I’m sure the thought of their players chasing animals through the woods has Cowboys fans brimming with confidence about the upcoming season.
