There were reports earlier that New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was still struggling with dropped passes in camp. He struggled with drops last two season so while some were worried that he hadnāt corrected that problem, Jimmy Graham spun it a different way.
āDrew and I are alreadyĀ in mid-season form,ā Graham said, via Jim Corbett ofĀ USA Today.
Of course dropped passes werenāt what Graham was addressing when giving that quote. He was talking about a 65-yard touchdown pass he had received from Drew Brees in practice. Though the defense claimed he had been ātaggedā and marked down at the 35-yard line.
āRight now, weāre more dynamic offensively than weāve ever been,ā Graham said.
Graham is coming off a down year, he fought through a left wrist injury that required surgery. Surprising that a 85 reception, 982 yard and 9 touchdown season could be a down year.
āLast year was very difficult playing all season with that much pain,ā said Graham, who wonāt reveal whether the wrist was broken. āBut thatās football.
āIām going to be a man and play for this team no matter what.ā
A healthy Graham is looking to rebound to the form he was in 2 years ago when he caught 99 passes for 1,310 yards and 11 touchdowns.
