The number 2 brings up a lot of bad memories to Oakland Raiders fans. There was the promise and hope of number 1 overall draft pick JaMarcus Russell who wore the number 2 jersey. Quarterback Terrelle Pryor had been wearing the number 6 with the Oakland Raiders but he has since changed to the number 2.

“I had to do a double take,” said quarterback Matt Flynn, via CSN Bay Area. “Not only was it a new number, the jersey looked a little big on him.”

Flynn played with Russell at LSU and Terrelle Pryor wore the number 2 while playing at Ohio State. Pryor wanted to wear 2 when he came to Oakland but then head coach Hue Jackson wouldn’t allow him to.

“Coach won’t let me wear No. 2. Why? I don’t know,” Pryor said at the time. “You tell me.”
