Oh man – there’s not much worse than somebody digging through the archives and finding an old picture of yourself.

I mean, not only do you always (and I mean always) look like a complete goof, but you’re stuck in fashion from a decade or two prior which makes the situation even worse.

That’s probably how Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant feels this morning after somebody uncovered a picture of the Black Mamba rocking a Will Smith, Fresh Prince of Bel Air inspired hi-top fade.

The photo from 1990 (which would have made Bryant about 12 at the time) was taken in Italy during some type of basketball camp or during school and features the young Bryant rocking the Fresh Prince.

Even more hilarious is the cartoon caricature (I can’t lie, I had them too) basketball player on his shirt, though, I can’t really make it out. Is it Hakeem? Barkley? Possibly Jordan (doesn’t really seem to be)?

Either way, it’s a pretty awesome picture that I’m sure Kobe wishes never would have seen the light of day.
