Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor goes video game stiff arm on Indianapolis Colts
By Bryan Rose
As we speak, the Oakland Raiders are in the midst of potentially pulling an upset against the Indianapolis Colts. How that plays out, we’re soon to find out, but no matter the final score, Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been a machine today.
While the Raiders were expected to have one of the worst quarterback situations in the NFL (if not the worst), Terrelle Pryor has halted all that talk – at least for a few days as he’s ran and thrown all over the Colts’ solid defense this afternoon.
One person who’s very well aware of Pryor’s solid play is defensive back Laron Landry who not only missed a tackle on Pryor earlier in the game, he took a nasty video game stiff arm from the quarterback.
Running down the sideline, Pryor decided to pull out his best running back move and gave an “I don’t think so” arm to the facemask of Landry, though, in fairness to the Colts defensive back, he did get him out of bounds which was his job.
Most quarterbacks would have of course not even made it to the sideline, let alone try to stiff arm a defender. Hopefully Pryor’s hard nosed style won’t land with him on the IR.
