CVS trolls Washington Redskins fans; tells them to stock up on Kleenex (photo)

Coming into the season, everything was in place for the Washington Redskins to have a successful 2013 season. Fans were hoping for their second postseason appearance since 2007. Things were looking as if they were finally going to turn around.

It’s turned around all right – right into the ground.

Now 0-3 with their franchise quarterback looking like a shell of his former self (understandably so), things are not going well for the Redskins or their faithful. Add in the other injuries and irritated players (say like Fred Davis) who won’t stop complaining and things aren’t looking overly promising.

A local CVS took notice and offered help, suggesting that Redskin fans stock up on Kleenex in case the Redskins don’t improve.

The sign reads:

"Kleenex – .99 cents. Stock up in case the Redskins don’t improve"

Of course, it’s more of an easy marketing gimmick than a shot at the Redskins, but it’s still pretty funny – sans to those that bleed maroon and yellow. The particular pharmacy that decided to poke a little fun at the team is located in nearby Harrisonburg, Virginia.
