The Seattle Seahawks made a big move in the offseason to acquire wide receiver Percy Harvin, but the speedy wide receiver has yet to take a step on the field as he recovers from offseason hip surgery.

Recently, Harvin returned to New York to continue rehabbing the hip and he received some positive news.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, a league source states that Harvin’s recovery is going “extremely well,” but there remains no timetable for his return.

The good news is obviously that Harvin should be able to return during the final stretch of the regular season, however, the team has the luxury of allowing him to fully recover before they force him in to action.

Seattle has been on a roll throughout the first three weeks of the season, so while the addition of Harvin will be a boost to the offense, it is not something that they are desperate to have.

Expect more news on Harvin’s recovery and return to the field in the coming weeks. It should be more good news.
