The San Francisco 49ers in some regards are still trying to find their footing this season. They’re just 2-2 and had higher hopes for the start of their season. The ground game has been fair solid though, ESPN ranks the 49ers ground game as the 8th best in the NFL, with an average of 131 yards per game.

Most of those yards have come from running back Frank Gore and quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Aside from those two, Kendall Hunter has gotten 22 carries for 80 yards this season. Buried on the depth chart is former Oregon stand out LaMichael James, and he is tired of it.

“Some things I just don’t understand at all,” James tweeted, via CSN Bay Area. “I don’t work at State Farm, I’m not trying to be insurance.”

James has deleted this tweet.

I know this is a very prima donna thing to say, and as a professional James shouldn’t be complaining publicly, but I find this incredibly funny. You have to give it to James, it was a pretty creative way to go about complaining about his team publicly. I mean he could’ve gone the less creative route of Hakeem Nicks saying he can’t hand the ball of to himself, or the Mike Wallace route and claim he doesn’t call the plays.

Who knows, maybe he could get an endorsement deal out of this.
