Right now the Green Bay Packers are chasing after the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears, who happen to be at the top of the division.

The Packers can’t afford to have  any serious injuries to key players if they have any hopes of winning the division once again. I know it’s early but this team lost Greg Jennings during the off-season to the Minnesota Vikings, but at least they still have Jordy Nelson, right?

So far this season Jones has brought in 20 receptions for nearly 350 yards and two touchdowns. Jones has been battling a sprained PCL but right now nothing has been thrown out to the media.

Head coach Mike McCarthy should give us some idea on what is going on with Jones, as he addresses the media every Wednesday.

With Jones not at practice, running back James Starks also sat out. Starks has been dealing with a knee problem for awhile now and has to be frustrated with how things have been going for him so far.

Starks has 187 rushing yards on 34 carries with only one rushing touchdown going into Week 7. No idea if he’ll play this week, but we should also hear more on Starks from McCarthy whenever he addresses the media.
