It has been a rough day from Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III as he attempts to score a win over the San Francisco 49ers. From poor passing decisions to interceptions and fumbles, Griffin has yet to shake off the rust that he started the season with.
To add insult to injury on Monday Night Football, Griffin was the unfortunate recipient of a shot below the belt.
Mike Tirico attempted to tell us that Griffin took a kick to the midsection, but it was obvious to anyone with functioning eyes that he was kicked directly in the nuts by 49ers outside linebacker Aldon Smith.
Ouch, that never feels good.
Washington is currently trailing the 49ers by ten-points, 16-6, early in the third quarter.
