Teams love when the areas around their buildings are expanded with different types of clubs, restaurants and shops. It usually helps attendance for both the team and the local vendors.

What teams apparently do not like, are when strip clubs attempt to move into their neighborhood.

According to Stacy Vogel Davis of the Milwaukee Business Journal, a strip club wants to move in across from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Bucks, along with the Admirals, a minor league hockey team and Marquette University, have sent a letter in order to prevent the club from opening.

"“Without a doubt, the presence of a strip club will change the way our neighborhood is perceived and hurt our business,” the letter said. The letter noted that the space is in a city parking garage where many Bradley Center customers park, so they would be forced to pass the strip club on their way to the center. Many attendees are families with young children, the letter said. The Bradley Center board and the owner of the nearby Aloft Hotel have also sent letters opposing the strip club, and the Milwaukee Area Technical College board will consider taking a stand against the club Tuesday night."

The Bucks will host the Washington Wizards from this very arena Wednesday night at 8:00 pm EST.
