When the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears in a winner-take-all, Week 17 matchup, they’ll do so with a banged up Eddie Lacy.

The starting running back who has been dealing with a bum ankle admitted on Friday the injury ‘still hurts’ and he hasn’t seen much improvement:

"Lacy says ankle sprain still hurts. Feels about the same it has. Adds he’ll “try to get as close to 100 (percent) as possible.” #packers"

Thankfully for Lacy, he’ll be taking on a Chicago Bears run defense that is literally among the worst in NFL history so it’s entirely possible the former Alabama star could put up impressive numbers on one ankle.

Lacy is expected to start and see his normal workload – possibly even a touch more with Aaron Rodgers likely to be a bit rusty.

Green Bay has kept Lacy out of practice all week and given him constant treatment, though nothing appears to be working as the running back has aggravated the injury in consecutive weeks.
