In an NFL draft that had promises to be loaded at the quarterback position, there has been quite a bit of shuffling as far as who the top guy will be. Marcus Mariota announced fairly early on that he would return to Oregon and the momentum for Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater has come and gone over the course of the season.

Now Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that some NFL teams have Brett Hundley of UCLA ranked as the best potential quarterback on the board (pending his decision about entering the draft):

Teams that we think we know will be seeking a quarterback include the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, and the Houston Texans. Can you imagine an actual scenario where the Texans would select Hundley with the number one pick? Perhaps…

There’s a long way to go and lots of time for sources to change their mind, but Hundley will certainly be an intriguing prospect as he brings the coveted dual threat capability that has made for quick success for the likes of Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. Then again, just yesterday we heard reports that scouts believe he should stay at UCLA for another season.

If nothing else, this shows that there should be a lot of movement and uncertainty at the top of the 2014 draft.
