Over the past few days, Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo has been a hot name in coaching circles. He had been connected to the Cleveland Browns head coaching vacancy and was viewed as a likely replacement for Mike Sherman with the Miami Dolphins, but neither of those positions will be McAdoo’s moving forward.

As it turns out, McAdoo will be leaving Green Bay, but he will be staying in the NFC after agreeing to become the New York Giants new offensive coordinator.

Alex Marvez of FOX Sports passed along the news:

The Baltimore Ravens were also expected to take a look at McAdoo, but they will not have that opportunity.

It will be interesting to see how McAdoo is able to improve the Giants offense and potentially allow quarterback Eli Manning to rebound from one of the worst statistical seasons of his career.
