The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching and teams around the league are deciding if they’re going to be buyers at the deadline or if they’re going to be sellers. According to Sam Amick from FOX Sports as well as Mitch Lawrence from the New York Daily News, the New Orleans Pelicans are going to be one of those teams selling at the deadline.

Both Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans could be on the move very soon as the Pelicans could be open to making some big trades in the next few weeks. The deadline isn’t until February 20th, but the Pelicans have been rumored to be involved in trades for sometime now.

New Orleans made a trade over the weekend with the Brooklyn Nets, but the two most discussed names on the team have been Gordon and Evans.

There’s no guarantee that the duo will be moved before the deadline, but it’s starting to sound like if the Pelicans can move one or both for pieces they can use in the future, they won’t think twice about making the deal.
