In an effort to ramp up the competitive spirit of the NFL Pro Bowl, the league decided to award a free GMC truck to the Most Valuable Player on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. After seeing the way the NFL all-stars were going after each other on Sunday night, it is safe to say that the format and rule changes worked.

After the final whistle blew, Team Rice edged Team Sanders by a score of 22-21 and it was Team Rice linebacker Derrick Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs and Team Sanders quarterback Nick Foles of the Philadelphia Eagles that came away with the MVP awards.

Here is a look at the vehicle that each player earned for the MVP honor:

Foles finished the game on 7-of-10 passing with 89 yards and a touchdown. He had a quarterback rating of 130.8 and was the only quarterback not to throw an interception in the game.

Johnson finished the game with 9 tackles, one pass defensed and a forced fumble. Johnson was also flying around the field throughout the night, including one huge hit on his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, running back Jamaal Charles.
