The Denver Broncos lost the Super Bowl to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. It wasn’t a close game and they were pretty much dominated from start to finish. Understandably, some of the players felt like they had let down their fans, friends and family.
Broncos defensive end Shaun Phillips shared one of those exchanges on his twitter account. He tweeted out a picture of a text conversation with his son apologizing for letting him down. His son responds by letting him know that he is still his hero.
Sorry we let you guys down. Messages like this is the I my thing that make me feel better. pic.twitter.com/e6FTuzw7LC
