The first half of Super Bowl 48 is nearly in the books between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos inside MetLife Stadium, and so far, it’s been all Seahawks thus far, capitalizing off some Denver mistakes in the first half in front of a giant crowd in the Meadowlands.

But, just how big of a crowd is it? Well the official attendance number has just been announced, and tonight there are 82,529 rabid football fans in attendance taking in tonight’s festivities.

So far, the first Super Bowl in the New York/New Jersey area has gone off with few hitches, and it appears as if all of those over 82,000 in attendance are enjoying themselves.

Well, not unless you’re a Broncos fan, in which case this had been a head-scratching outing thus far. That record-setting offense has been dominated all game long so far by the stifling defensive unit of the Seahawks, and will more than certainly need to make some adjustments prior to the second half.

A half in which Seattle will start with the ball.
