Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris missed the Super Bowl with a torn ACL in his left knee. Harris will have surgery on on Thursday to repair the ligament. Famed surgeon Dr. James Andrew will be performing the operation.

From Mike Klis of the Denver Post:

"As torn ACLs go, the hope is Dr. James Andrews will find Harris’ surgery easier than others. Harris said he only suffered a 30 percent tear in the ACL.“I can do everything,” Harris said as he rolled his luggage bag down the corridor of the team’s hotel Monday morning. “It’s just structurally where they wouldn’t let me play.”"

Harris is a restricted free agent this offseason so this could hurt his search for a new deal. If the tear is only 30 percent there is a good chance it could not effect him that much next season or in the future, a team could be getting a bargain on Harris if the market is hesitant.
