NBA Trade Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks interested in Eric Gordon

The New Orleans Pelicans are trying very hard to make a move before the NBA trade deadline passes on February 20th and one player they’re trying to move is guard Eric Gordon. They haven’t had much luck in finding a suitor for Gordon, but that hasn’t stopped the Pelicans from trying.

According to Gery Woelfel, the Milwaukee Bucks could be a team that shows interest in Gordon as the deadline approaches.

The Bucks don’t seem to be in the market to make a big, splashy trade at the deadline, but could look to upgrade at guard now rather than wait until the offseason.

Milwaukee looks to be a lock for the No. 1 pick at the end of the season, and trading for Gordon may throw that plan for a loop, then again he’s not lighting things up the the Pelicans at the moment either.

First of all, Woelfel is with the Racine Journal Times.
Secondly, no one is a lock for the first pick in the draft. It’s a lottery.
Finally, why on earth would the Bucks trade for Gordon? They want draft picks, not more guys.

Hammond should be fired immediately for even thinking about trading a 1st for Gordon. They have almost a baker’s dozen of 2nds so I’d be all for dumping a few of those and a veteran stiff.

If the Bucks are trading us Sanders and Butler back, I’m all for it.
