Free agent safety Louis Delmas has been drawing a bit of interest from several teams across the league. Teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints have been interested.

Now Delmas visited the Steelers just the other day and met with the New Orleans Saints today according to Profootballtalk’s on Twitter.

The Saints released veteran Roman Harper (I was a bit surprised) and have been tied to free agent corner-back Captain Munnerlyn. New Orleans will be looking to add more depth to their secondary after having an improved year.

Louis Delmas was limited to only eight games in 2012, but played every game this year. He finished the season with 64 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions, the interceptions total is a career high for the former second round pick.

New Orleans could possibly be the favorite to land him. Hopefully it doesn’t take them out of the running to bring in Munnerlyn.
