The Sacramento Kings seem to be breathing new life into the career of Royce White, as it appears he’s catching on with the team. After signing a 10-day contact with the Kings, TNT analyst and NBA.com scribe David Aldridge is reporting that another contract is in the works for the former Iowa State product.

Per David Aldridge:

"White has played in two games for Reno, with two games remaining — both in Reno — before the Kings would have to decide whether to sign him to a second 10-day deal.Indications are that is exactly what the Kings want to do. Indeed, Sacramento is intrigued enough with White that you shouldn’t be surprised if the Kings keep White the rest of the season."

White’s career has taken him from Houston to Philadelphia and now Sacramento and it appears that the third time is the charm for White. He failed to latch on with either of his previous two teams, with things ending horribly with the Rockets.

White’s rebounding with the Kings though and he may finally develop into the player he looked to be coming out of college.
