NFL Free Agent Rumors: Andre Brown visiting Oakland Raiders

On Tuesday night, rumors hinted that the Oakland Raiders had interest in former New York Giants running back Andre Brown.
That apparent interested was confirmed this morning as Brown is in town and will visit the Raiders franchise today, this according to beat writer Vic Tafur.

The Raiders have already re-signed the oft-injured Darren McFadden and how have their eyes set on a player who is coming off a significant injury and has shown some decline – this after letting two of their premier defensive players walk in free agency.
Maybe general manager Reggie McKenzie has a plan I’m not seeing that he’s waiting to unfold, but Brown doesn’t strike me as much of a need as he and McFadden aren’t exactly going to the be the most dynamic duo.
If anything, Oakland should have retained Rashad Jennings over Brown.
There’s been no mention of any potential contractual terms at this point.
