The season for the Indiana Pacers has been a tale of two halves, as one half of their season was lights out domination while the other half has been a bit of a mixed bag. A lot of people have been trying to pinpoint just what is causing the Pacers to have a topsy-turvy second half of the season and NBA scribe Ric Bucher seems to have figured it out.

Just as many suspected back in February when it happened, the deal that landed Evan Turner in Indiana is coming back to bite the Pacers in a big bad way. According to Bucher, it was Turner who Roy Hibbert was referring to as selfish and it’s Turner who is stepping on Lance Stephenson’s toes in the Pacers lineup.

While the Turner trade looked like it could throw off team chemistry, the Pacers made it anyways and barreled forward. Now that it’s coming back to bite them, they may not only lose out on a run in the postseason but they may lose out on Lance Stephenson as well.
