The folks at New Era will not be officially unveiling their 2014 NFL Draft cap collection until Thursday, May 1, but USA Today has leaked some photos of what the caps for this year’s rookies will look like.

In previous years, the hats have been very plain with the team nickname and logo gracing the front of the cap, but this year there is a little twist that brings some flair to the look on draft day.

While we don’t know who will be the No. 1 overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, we now know that this will be the cap that they place on their head when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announces the pick — assuming the Houston Texans don’t trade away the pick.

Here is a look at the caps for some of the other teams with high picks in this year’s draft:

The mosaic brim featuring the team logo, name and abbreviation brings a new, modern look to the cap, while the body of the hat keeps a traditional look with the primary team color and logo.

It will be interesting to see how the new design is received by fans, so be sure to sound off in the comments section below to share your thoughts.
