There are some that are calling this NFL Draft, beginning in one week, a very deep one in regards to the quarterback position. Given all the movement in the mock drafts, you can make the case that this is true.

One of the signal callers that has not received much hype has been Clemson product Tajh Boyd, who recently told Sirius XM NFL Radio that from what he’s hearing, he won’t be on the board past the third round.

Boyd is the all-time leading career passer in the ACC and had one of the more successful, four-year collegiate careers in history, but he hasn’t received a lot of positive feedback since the end of the season.

He had very poor workouts during Senior Bowl week and he followed that up with a bad showing in the game itself.

But there’s no questioning that Boyd has all of the physical tools to make some coordinator or GM fall in love and want to work with him to see if they could turn him into a franchise quarterback.
