Buffalo Bills list Robert Woods as No. 2 receiver
By David Miniel
Well the Buffalo Bills started off the day with a bang as they were able to pick up a 2015 draft pick in exchange for speedy slot receiver Stevie Johnson.
This was something that I did not see coming, but I shouldn’t be surprised because we’ve seen a lot of surprise trades go down within the three day NFL Draft window. But this is a business, so we all have to move on and remain focused on the future. As of right now, the Buffalo Bills have Robert Woods, Sammy Watkins, Mike WIlliams and Marquise Goodwin listed as wide receivers.
But according to ESPN.com, the Buffalo Bills have Robert Woods listed as their No. 2 wide receiver on the depth chart. Woods had himself a decent rookie season last year as an every down receiver.
He finished the 2013 season with 46 receptions, 587 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 14 games with the Bills. Those numbers should increase, but not by all that much after the off-season and draft that Buffalo has had. They had tons of weapons in the passing game but will need the running game to be on the same page in order for those weapons to cause defensive coordinators to pull out their hair.
