Here are 10 Bold Predictions for Saturday’s match between the Houston Dynamo and Los Angeles Galaxy.

1. Brad Davis with two assists

Brad Davis is Houston’s top provider with five assists this season. He will get in on goal with a couple more assist to help the Dynamo in this contest.

2. Will Bruin scores for Houston

The Dancing Bear, Will Bruin, is Houston’s top scorer with six goals this season. Look for Bruin to add another to his impressive tally at home on Saturday.

3. Mark Sherrod, the unsung hero

A man with a powerful cannon for a leg, the Dynamo’s Mark Sherrod only has two goals this season but can shoot. Watch for Sherrod to add another to his tally against LA.

4. Giles Barnes in on goal

Giles Barnes will have a field day against Los Angeles. He won’t score immediately, but in the second half, look for this midfielder to make his mark and score for the Dynamo.

5. At least five saves from Tally Hall

The face of Houston Dynamo goalkeeping for a number of years, Tally Hall will come up clutch for the Men in Orange this weekend. The MLS Multiplex boldly predicts at least five saves from Hall, who comes into the match with 31 saves this season.

6. At least five saves from Jaime Penedo

Hall’s counterpart, Galaxy netminder Jaime Penedo, is not too shabby himself. This season, Penedo has 18 saves and will have another strong performance this weekend with at least five more.

7. Robbie Keane will score for LA

With five goals this season, Robbie Keane has a nose for goal, and on Saturday, the MLS Multiplex is banking on another goal from Keano to keep the hopes up.

8. The record will not be set for Landon Donovan

As for the record, it will not come here against Houston in Houston. Part of the Dynamo’s game plan, one would imagine, is to prevent the record from being set, and that part of the plan will be successful.

9. At least 30 fouls and five cards

With both teams having met in the MLS Cup Final, there already is some bad blood between these two teams. Expect at least 30 fouls whistled and five cards issued.

10. Houston keeps win streak going against Los Angeles

In conclusion, the MLS Multiplex hereby predicts, with bold convictions, that the Houston Dynamo will extend their win streak over the Los Angeles Galaxy in impressive fashion. With the heat expected to reach in the 80’s on match day, the Dynamo will take advantage of the adverse weather conditions to take it to the visitors.
