The Houston Texans have signed Notre Dame defensive lineman Louis Nix, their third-round draft pick, to a four-year contract on Friday. That is big with the Texans’ rookie camp starting on Saturday. Nix will get $2.85 million, including a signing bonus of $575,252.

That still leaves three draft picks unsigned for the Texans, including the No. 1 overall draft pick Jadeveon Clowney. It is still early on Friday, so there is plenty of time to get a deal done before camp starts on Saturday.
