The Utah Jazz were obviously disappointed with the results of Tuesday night’s NBA Draft Lottery, they still could package their picks to move up in the draft.

Of course, they are more likely to remain in the fifth spot and make a pick.

Although the Jazz selected former Michigan Wolverines’ point guard Trey Burke in the first round last year, ESPN’s Chad Ford believes they could bite one on of the top two point guards, Australian native Dante Exum and former Oklahoma State Cowboy Marcus Smart, this season.

"I wouldn’t go that far, though I understand the despair. The top tier of this draft is widely believed to go 4 deep and the Jazz are sitting at 5. A couple of things. I think there’s a chance Dante Exum could be there at 5. If he is, I think they snag him……I actually think he’d [Smart] be a good fit. A big guard who can play both positions and provide toughness, leadership and can play right out of the gate. I just get the feeling for the last year that the Jazz have never been as high on him as other teams were. I think the wildcard for them is actually Aaron Gordon."

There are many that believe both Exum and Smart can play off of the ball so it really wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see the Jazz select one of them to pair with Burke.
