The 2014 FIFA World Cup has not started as planned for host nation Brazil against Croatia. Thanks to an attacking line up and strong midfield play from Croatia, they were able to put the pressure on Brazil early and force an own-goal to earn the early 1-0 lead.

Now, their star player, Neymar, is in some penalty trouble.
After going up for a jump ball, Neymar put a forearm to the head of Croatia’s Luka Modric and drew a yellow card.
It was the first yellow card of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The good news for Brazil is that Neymar is not the kind of player who is willing to go in for tackles.
Because of that, he should be able to avoid a yellow card in Brazil’s next couple of games and ultimately avoid a one-game suspension.
The yellow card total will be wiped after the quarterfinals.
Following his yellow card, Neymar drove down the field and put a pass on net that bounced off of the goal post and bounced into the back of the net passed Stipe Pletikosa to even the score with the first World Cup goal in his career.
Neymar may not have gotten everything on the ball, but it managed to slide into the right position and deflect past the keeper.
