Now that the 2014 NBA Draft is over and done with, the focus will shift to free agency, which officially begins on Tuesday, July 1.

As for the rookies, they will get their first chance to show their stuff at the Orlando Pro Summer League and the Las Vegas Pro Summer League, which are both held in July.
Of course, just because the rookies haven’t been in action with their new teams doesn’t mean it is too early to start betting on them.
Our friends over at Bovada have been kind to send over the latest odds and Milwaukee Bucks’ forward Jabari Parker has been instilled as the favorite to win the 2014-2015 Rookie of the Year Award.
Parker was selected with the second-overall pick in the draft. He went for 19.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 47.3% from the field, 35.8% from beyond the arc and 74.8% from the free throw line for the Blue Devils last season. The last time Parker was officially measured, he came in at 6’8.5 and 240 lbs. with a wingspan of 6’11.5 at the Kevin Durant Camp in 2013.
The number one-overall pick by, former Kansas Jayhawks’ forward Andrew Wiggins is right behind Parker. Wiggins averaged 17.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game for the Jayhawks last season while shooting 44.8% from the field, 34.1% from beyond the arc and 77.5% from the free throw line.
