After LeBron James announced that he would be returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, many began to wonder what would be next for his good friend Dwyane Wade.

More from Dallas Mavericks

The Chicago Bulls are one of the teams that reached out to the veteran guard, but Stephen A. Smith of ESPN has said that there is another team gauging interest in D-Wade.

According to Smith on Friday night’s SportsCenter, the Dallas Mavericks have reached out to Wade.

Whether or not anything comes from the Mavericks interest remains to be seen.

Smith also noted that Wade is working on a deal that would bring him back to South Beach to play for the Miami Heat.

Once the Heat re-signed Chris Bosh to a max deal, it seemed all but certain that Dwyane Wade would be the next player to re-sign in Miami. Udonis Haslem is also expected to return.

Wade will have to look at all of his options as he contemplates where to sign, because this could very well be the last contract that he receives in his NBA career.
