Kevin Love is a major target for the Cavaliers but in order to get him the team would need to part ways with No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins — something the Cavaliers have been very hesitant to do.
According to new Cavaliers head coach David Blatt, if Andrew Wiggins is going to be traded then it’s news to him as he’s been working with the No. 1 overall pick at Summer League and so far loves what he sees and doesn’t believe he will be traded.
Not trading Wiggins seems to be something that the Cavs are sticking rather close to in terms of a stance as they’ve not budged muvh on it since the rumors started. Of course, taking an unproven rookie and flipping him for the best power forward in the game seems like a no brainer, but the Cavs love Wiggins upside and if they can’t form a Big 3 with LeBron, Kyrie Irving and Love, then they can form one with LeBron, Kyrie and Wiggins.
