On Friday afternoon, Huston Street trade rumors began to pick up steam and a deal between the Los Angeles Angels and San Diego Padres was agreed to later in the night.

More from Los Angeles Angels

The six-player trade is now pending a physical.

From ESPN.com:

"In return, the Padres will receive second baseman Taylor Lindsey, right-hander R.J. Alvarez, shortstop Jose Rondon and another minor leaguer from the Angels, sources said. Los Angeles also will acquire a minor-league player in the deal."

Street, who was in his third-year with the Padres, has 24 saves, a 1.09 ERA and a 0.76 WHIP this season.

The nine-year veteran will now be joining fourth team since entering the league.

Street is just the latest addition to the Angels’ bullpen, which added closer Jason Grilli from the Pittsburgh Pirates last month in exchange for Ernesto Frieri.
