A’s catcher Stephen Vogt recently began cracking up his teammates with his hilarious impression of an NBA referee. Once news of Vogt’s impersonation skills got around, MLB Network had to have him on to show them off.

Vogt did not disappoint, busting out the single greatest NBA referee impression I have ever seen delivered by an Oakland A’s catcher.
So when other guys are out there on the basketball court trying to copy LeBron James or Kevin Durant or Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Vogt is working on his referee moves?
Other guys are trying dunks, but Vogt is off in the corner practicing his charge call. His teammates are attempting between-the-legs dribbles, but Vogt is working on his over-and-back sign.
We all need a dream, and Stephen Vogt’s is to shoot to the top of the ranks among NBA referee impersonators. I think he’s made it. I think the shorts and high socks are what truly sell it.
If his baseball career ever flames out for any reason, Vogt can hit a random street corner and make lots of change doing that routine. Guy’s talented, you have to give it to him.
