Browns fan waves money for Johnny Manziel in NFL debut (Video)
By Jack Crosby
Saturday night brought upon one of the more memorable NFL debuts in quite some time as Johnny Manziel made his professional debut with the Cleveland Browns in their preseason opener against the Detroit Lions. And right off the bat, you could tell that he’s endeared by the Browns fan base.
Early in the second quarter, Manziel made his debut and went three-and-out for the Browns. But before he even got started, the camera panned to this fan, who had a rather clever way of showing his support for the former Heisman winner.
Of course, for the few that might not know, that’s a reference to the infamous Money Manziel sign that the former Texas A&M used a lot during his time in College Station.

We’re not completely sure how well Manziel will do in the league just yet, but you can tell that the people are banking on him to become the savior of the organization. An organization that has suffered through a lot in recent years, and is in desperate need of some success.
All in all, Manziel did not look that bad in the three plays that he was actually on the field for. But he’ll have a couple more drives to come in this one, and the man above will be right behind him all the way.
