Les Miles is up to his old tricks in a new promotional video for the College Football Playoff released on Monday.

More from College Football

The head football coach at LSU is featured drinking a grass smoothie in a nod back to the Mad Hatter’s proclivity to sample the grass during Saturday’s to “become one with the field” and I gotta say, it is pretty fantastic.

You can check out the video from ESPN below.

The caption for the video reads as follows: “This is the first season of the College Football Playoff. This year, it’s not just the players upping their games. The fans, coaches, bands, cheerleaders and even mascots are all taking it to the next level as well. “Different Ways In” shows all of the different ways people are “IN” for this historic season…Who’s In?”

I don’t know about you, but I’m in for the 2014 college football season that will finally give die-hard fans the playoff they have wanted for a long, long time as the BCS is officially dead.

Who do you think will represent college football in the Final Four this year?

In the video we saw teams like Ohio State, Iowa, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Auburn, Wake Forest, Tulane, USC and Florida State, so something tells me fans in the state of Alabama will be a bit miffed that the Crimson Tide were not featured, even for a second, in this promotional video.

But then again, it is not as if this video is saying Tulane or Arkansas has a better shot than the Tide, but rather any team has a chance in the new format.
