Derrick Rose wants Kanye West to work on his new shoe

We all know Kanye West can make music, but what about shoes? Well, if Chicago Bulls star and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose has his way, the two will be collaborating on a shoe in the near future.

Speaking with Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk, Derrick Rose couldn’t help but get excited over the idea of the two working on a sneaker together.

“It was great hearing that they signed him because him, everything he’s doing, him being an icon, his music, him loving fashion and signing with adidas is just huge step for us, man. I hope I have time to colab with him, that would be pretty cool… I’d probably have to wait on that and get the okay from adidas after his shoe comes out.”

‘They’ would be adidas, who not only sponsor Derrick Rose but also Kanye West after Yeezy decided to jump ship on Nike back in December.

Now, Derrick Rose’s most recent shoes are pretty sweet, though that’s not exactly shocking given what we’ve seen from adidas and Rose in the past. However, most would likely feel comfortable in suggesting that designs they’ve seen from Kanye West in the past are a bit out there, so it’s hard to imagine what the two sides would come up with if given the chance to collaborate.

Might Kanye just decide to sample another pair of hit shoes like he does records? Oops, was I not supposed to say that?

In all seriousness, should be interesting to see what the two come up with if they can get their schedules in-line.
